I was looking for a game at a new table to join and am so glad I found Nick! He's got a variety of tools in his storytelling kit, and it's been a breath of fresh air to have a DM who values interactions the way he does, and goes out of his way to do and code things to keep the game interesting - like puzzles, items (chests we find have random items in them!), and calling out areas of interest during exploration periods we can dig into further. Nick is dedicated to creating both a safe and responsive space, listening to player desires when they're presented with new information and want to act on it in a way that may change the intended course of events. He's very well-versed in D&D rules but still allows for players to do cool things that aren't explicitly written when well-argued for how a skill or spell could be used in that way, and it's really encouraging as a player to find ways to be engaged and be creative with what my sheet can do while acknowledging its limitations. Would and am actively recommending Nick to everybody I know as I think his other games are rad, too, but I only have limited space in my schedule!

Daphne sets unique worlds with approachable themes and problems, making engagement easy. They have a heavy focus on story direction and keep every combat encounter relevant to driving that story forward. The campaign often feels open-world rather than locked in on a single track, adaptable to player direction rather than predestined to play out a specific series of events. Each table has started out with a collection of players' unsafe topics to make sure those are avoided throughout the campaign, which is an especially-appreciated touch. I started my first PF2e campaign at Daphne's table, and both the GM and players made me feel welcome and included, being patient with my text questions on the side.
