It was a lot of fun- and us players were able to do a whole lot to affect the world we were in. Hell, we kind of just straight up 'broke' it, in a good way- It was my first time doing a campaign as well, and our GM was very helpful in teaching me! I would definitely recommend her, if not for the helpfulness as a new player, but then for the incredible world and story she's crafted, and how much it can bend and shape to the will of the players within it.
