Todd starts off by giving a visual aid pdf so you can see the rules very simplified on one sheet of paper. It was very helpful. He gave suggested archetypes that were affiliated with some Test books and another document. He sets up safety tools to make sure everyone has a great time at the table while staying in the comfort zone. He gave suggestions to help make you experience even better with music, tokens, sound quality, etc. He even worked well with some restrictions the player may have. Very flexible. His knowledge and explanation of the rules were spot on. He gave amazing opportunities to experience different scenarios by setting up specific encounters. Plus, he was very mindful of the time, making sure the session flowed with his amazing improvisational skills. I feel like I could play Savage Worlds with a general understanding of how to play. The one-shot had a great story, the participants were great, and it made me want to continue to learn SWADE and teach it to others. Definitely a great GM.
