Hanen is a great, professional, fun DM. I'm very impressed with his ability to bring a group together (including working around players that had to leave), get everyone on the same page, and introduction the world. He is very conscious of what the players are looking for, accommodating skill levels, and just all around making everyone feel welcome and ready to have fun! UPDATE: I've played 8 sessions with Hanen so far, including a session zero to get a feel for his game style and what to expect. I am still THOROUGHLY impressed with him as a DM and all around awesome human. I always feel like the whole group has room to play and be heard, tie-ins to our back story (including unique mysteries for each player to build emotional and exciting investment), numerous ways to explore, craft, and all around have fun the way we want to when we want to. If you're hesitant about paying to play D&D (as I was originally) and are looking for convincing, I can say I find it very worth the money. As a gamer that's been playing D&D since 2nd edition, I really REALLY enjoy Hanen's game, and think you will to. Try it out, see if its a good fit, and become hooked like the rest of us have : ) Cheers!
