Katelyn will work with you to make your character backstory, and then your character choices, really matter. Even in a prewritten module, which is what I've played with her, she makes edits to NPCs and questlines to match her players and make them feel like they belong in the world.

He's patient and more than willing to let his characters act out a scene together. He also has a clear plan for the session, not an inflexible one, but with clear plothooks.
