I just finished this GM's first campaign and oh man, it has been an edge-of-your-seat rollercoaster basically the entire time. I've absolutely loved the world lore and diversity of the characters - but I believe the greatest strength of this GM is his momentum and pacing. There is no meandering here - it is non-stop engaging action and storytelling and roleplay where you take a deep breath and realize hours have passed since you last went to the bathroom and you really need to go but at the same time you can't tear yourself away from the table because you need to find out what happens next. My second favourite thing about this GM are his responses to 'can I do this...?' requests. He manages to walk a perfect line between power balance and fun - adjusting his encounters to let power gamers exist but still feel that looming threat whilst being creatively challenged. And lastly, besides being such a talented storyteller and knowledgeable GM in general - I have to mention how great this guy's attitude towards everything is. It is never 'players vs GM' and if things ever didn't go according to his plans, I wouldn't actually know because he has such a positive outlook towards our characters and hare-brained schemes. He definitely awards creativity but above all, he makes sure everyone is having a great time with their characters and the setting, and is always looking for ways to improve his craft.
