I am currently playing 2 games that AJ is running and having an absolute blast in both of them. He brings a lot of great storytelling to the table through characters and the visual and audio aids he uses. AJ allows for great player agency commending you when you have done something fun or silly or immersed in roleplay and allowing you to do those fun and silly things within the constructs of RAW and select homebrews. He has great knowledge of the rules which has been an excellent help for a returning player like myself. You can expect to have a bunch of fun and some good laughs in a game with AJ.

On my second campaign with Halen as GM and couldn't be happier! Halen is great at allowing player agency by combining neat homebrew mechanics with RAW and encouraging you to do that silly you thought of. A good mix of voices, knowledge of storytelling, Roll20 integration and ambient music is all well blended for an immersive online experience. Couldn't recommend Halen enough, especially for a beginner or somebody returning to the TTRPG space.
