Worked with all of us to build our backstories, connecting the characters & integrating my PC into the world in ways I 100% would not have thought of on my own. So far: after each session there’s been time for feedback, & discussing how we thought it went, does anything need to change, etc. We did consent sheets, a session zero, and a danger room sort of session, to get used to our characters. Would absolutely recommend for newbies or anyone feeling insecure about your skill level. I’m the resident newbie in our group; & can get in my head a lot about it, which can go sideways real fast. He’s been very patient with all my questions, both in and out of session, I haven’t once felt talked down to, or judged for not knowing something. The story/worldbuilding is amazing. NPCs are great. Feels like an experience, as opposed to just “ope I roll the dice. Hit! Ok now you roll.” Definitely note the note about combat on his page though - he is not kidding. 😂
