I've been playing in a campaign DM'd by John for several months now, and previously fought by his (character: her) side for over two years against the evils of the Dessarin Valley. I have loved every moment of the campaign John is DM'ing. He is knowledgeable and adroit, but offers us so much creative exploration and expression as well. Every session he goes out of his way to set the scene and enrich the world in which we find ourselves immersed be it with small details, mise en place and ambiance, and flavorful characters / NPC's we encounter along the way. Further, he is endlessly patient with us - the new folx and vets alike - when it comes to rules, stats, and rolls and fosters an easy environment for our characters to test their chops.
