Hal Martenson

I've played with Jacob now for over two years, which has flown by. I've played countless one shots with him, a full campaign from beginning to end, and am now currently playing in two separate campaigns DMed by him. Jacob has ruined me for all other DMs. Not only that, he has ruined me for literally any other activity than playing D&D with Jacob and his circle of kind, funny, smart regulars. I don't want to do anything else. You want brilliant acting and great voices? Jacob. You want compelling, inclusive stories that get to the heart of what it means to be human? Jacob. You want a super empathetic DM who can see the story you want for your character and will surprise you every step of the way? Jacob. Someone who is an expert at not only D&D but also running D&D in a virtual environment? Jacob. I can't think of a single thing I don't like about playing with him. Move over, Mercer. Move over, Mulligan. Move over, Iyengar. I'm on a one-person mission to make Jacob the most famous DM in the world.

Micah is awesome! He's a super kind and patient DM, but knows how to move the story along and make sure more talkative players aren't dominating the game. He's really run with my ideas for my character and build this whole story around it that is just so juicy and mysterious, and I'm so excited to keep digging into it!
