All it took was session zero to know that he is a great GM. As a newbie to D&D, Paul is understanding, knowledgeable, and he's very patient when explaining rules to someone who knows some of the game but not the nuances. That said, he's flexible with the soft rules, but very fair as well if there's a rule written in stone. I like his attitude and he's very communicative about potential dates he needs to book off or unavoidable problems we all experience (power outages and the like). If that's not enough to convince you, lets talk about his amazing attitude and encouragement. Full tilt role-playing that makes my little dramatic heart sing. The voices he comes up with are phenomenal. He's very inclusive and wants to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves and not feeling left out. Session zero helped solidify that with my group and I look forward to every game.
