Ace was a delightful human, and their passion and enthusiam for TTRPG's was clear, and this made for a fun afternoon. I participated in a short one-shot specifically designed to help people learn Daggerheart. I appreciated Ace's knowledge and confidence of the system, and their ability to provide thoughtful commentary on the good and bad aspects of the system. There wasn't a lot of roleplay between players as none of us knew eachother, and we were all focused on learning a new system. However Ace still went into full NPC character mode with different voices for their NPCs that were lively and had distinct personalities. I think it would be incredibly fun to have them as a GM for a longer campaign. My goal in attending this one-shot was to get a handle on the basic rules and how they played out in interacting with other players in an actual game. I learned a lot and I know have a better understanding of the general mechanics. 10/10 would recommend.
