Mark is an excellent DM. He has helped me go from knowing absolutely nothing about the world of D&D, to having a good knowledge of the mechanics. He also doesn't shy away from getting technical, which I really appreciate as a newcomer to the game. Mark brings with him a lot of lore of previous iterations of the game that help to add a lot more texture to the game. We have purely played online and voice only, but Mark paints an excellent picture and is able to help bring some realism to combat scenarios. Mark is generous with his scope for player input into what might be within the realms as well as knowing when to reign players back to ensure the whole group is enjoying things. My experience with Mark as a DM gave me the confidence to branch out and connect with others online to try more games and while they have all been enjoyable, none have quite met the same bar as Mark sets.
