About me
Hello! Stories are one of the most important things in my life. They're how I grow personally, they're how I create, and they are incredible mediums for building community, connection, and amazing experiences for those that hear them or are a part of them. I've been running games and RPGs for 10 years, and my passion and focus is on the stories that they create. Hilarious clusters of insanity, deeply moving personal spaces for engagement and exploration, or just good fun and adventure: all of these are important in the telling of stories and it's what makes RPGs so worth playing. So, make yourself comfortable and let's tell a story together. If you're brand new to the game, any game of this kind, welcome! It is my joy to hold a safe and understanding space for anyone that wants to play, no matter your level of experience, and I genuinely love to introduce brand new people to the incredible and meaningful experience that is roleplaying games. If you're into Sci-fi, fantasy, realism, absurdity of all kinds, horror, intrigue, heists, or anything else in between, I either have written something for it already or would love to work with you to make it a reality.
GM Style
Story. Character. Roleplay. Engagement. Fun. Those are the pillars that I base every game that I create and run on. The story is the framework that holds space for you to be whatever kind of character you want to be. Roleplay lets you flesh them out and through those moments, between players or the GM, we build engagement that makes the story better. And if it's fun, we keep going, and if there's a way to make it more fun, we do that! I believe heavily in mutual respect for all players and the GM, I am diverse and accepting of all that want to be a part of the story, and I utterly and unequivocally refuse to play with or run games for those that cannot respect, acknowledge, and validate all identities and beings that are present. Hate has no home at my table. I believe that these games, roleplaying and make believe, go beyond escapes or fun experiences. I believe they can be growthful, meaningful, and sometimes even emotionally freeing and powerful. Laughter, tears, emotion, difficult histories, joys, exploration of self, and growth can all be brought into these worlds, these characters, and the end results can be healthy for you and others. I don't, and never will, shy away from creating meaningful and impactful experiences and stories for my players, should they be open to it. I value roleplay immensely among my players, to whatever degree you're comfortable with it. When it comes to the rules, I think that a framework is important but is also just that: a framework that serves the story that is being told. Creativity, ingenuity, critical thinking, and fun are the the ways I run my game, and should be rewarded. Sometimes the exact wording of something stifles the fun. Sometimes the exact wording of something amplifies the fun. Whatever the case, my worlds run on what's best for the table.

Oh wow. That was so much fun. Good enthusiasm, really flexible game play for our incredibly varied group, wonderful creativity, and great help as we're learning D&D online. We will absolutely seek out Zeuben again to DM for us.

Wow Zeuben was amazing! His story telling and voice acting was incredible. We were a group of newbs and he patiently created an exciting, entertaining, first time experience. We're excited continue our adventure. Would highly recommend.

This GM is one of the best GMs I've ever had the pleasure of being a player for. He created a truly safe sun environment, and he moves the game/story along in a way pleasant and engaging. If you have never played D&D and wanna try, this is the perfect GM to do with. You'll know how to play at the end and if you like me, who was looking for something fun on my night off

As someone who runs games myself, I can admittedly be picky about other GMs. Zeuben has run games for myself and a group I've played in and I can with confidence that he is one of the best GMs with whom I've had the joy of joining a table. He is cognizant of when and where to use the spotlight, knows how to craft a good encounter and when to follow an unexpected thread to see where it goes. To top it off, his voice acting chops are icing on the cake. If you get Z to GM to for you, you will be in for a good time.

Not only is Zeuben one of the most brilliant storytellers and voice actors I've ever met, he is also beautifully empathetic, compassionate, thoughtful, and wonderfully mischievous and playful. Zeuben can hold space for someone's ridiculous and wild ideas, and someone's emotional responses to what's going on in the story. His style is energetic, and his improv skills are insane. His story archs are madly creative, and he will leave your whole party counting the days until the next game.

Zeuben is an INCREDIBLE DM!!! He is so devoted to making the experience as fluid and fun as possible. He is one of the most imaginative people I have every played with and you'll be so lucky to play a game with him. He is a professional voice over actor and he has developed so many worlds and games with so much detail, honestly it's pretty mind blowing. He has helped me a lot with the learning process because I was a newbie when we started playing together and he is patient and great at explaining things in ways us muggles can understand. :) Whether you are a seasoned player or a novice you will have a great time with Zeuben!
