Role play is my favorite aspect of a game. Though, having to cater to many needs in my game master career, I definitely know how to run combat smoothly, quickly, and super fun way.

GM Style

In all systems I favor role play more than combat, but I also love combat and, as per 5e and many other d20 ttrpgs, it’s what progresses the players through levels. I understand its importance and thus I put utmost care and thinking into every encounter. Moreover, every encounter should feel more like a battle of ideals in my games. You’re not just swinging a sword at Vecna, you’re cutting away at his ambitions and philosophy. Characters and their actions mean something, and it’s always so much fun seeing strong characters be strong.
