About me

My name is Joong Won Pyo (Joong - June like the month, Won - like Won a game, Pyo - The letter P and Yo man)! I have mainly been an in-person professional GM in LA but also GM'ed in South Korea and in the army! I hope to bring my various backgrounds in writing, acting, serving in the military, business school, being multilingual, and overall chipper personality to being the best GM for you! Frankly, I am better at adapting to my players' stories than writing my own, so I want many of my campaigns to be based on what the players want rather than what I write. So if any players have any stories they want to explore, that fuels my creativity! But most important of all is safety and respect. New players, POC, LGBTQIA+, etc, all members are welcome. We are here to have a good time so safety tools such as X Signs, Remote Control, Lines and Veils are all tools we can incorporate. Happy Gaming!

GM style

I actually prefer my players to tell me what kind of adventure they want as that fuels my creativity! You want to attend a magical school, wage an epic war, or build a town in a modern-day setting? I can do it all :D I will say my strongest source of inspiration is from my players' characters. I love tying in their backstories to the overall world and let them explore themes that are unique to them. While I believe story is key, this is still a game. So any major important rolls, I love to do out in the open. As any good GM would do, it is up to my improv skills to make the best out of your decision and the fate of the dice >:)
