About me

Greetings Adventurer! My name is Xarius, or David as most people tend to call me. I am 35 years old and I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons for over 20 years! I have been part of as a player hundreds of games, and as a Dungeon Master I have ran over 100 one shots/campaigns. I put a lot of time into my preparation, storytelling, and character background integration, as it should be my story is woven around the players! Every campaign, even in the same setting such as my Custom World Runa, or staples such as the Forgotten Realms are different. Combat is an important part of D&D, and it definitely has it's place at my table, but it is not the focus. I want to provide a high roleplaying environment, where character development and story telling is the main focus, but when you have to smite a Lich, well, the Lich shall be smitten. I use a variety of voices for my NPC's (some better then others) and everyone you will meet in my settings will be their own person (No generic shop keepers or farmers here). You want to make a random urchin you found in an alley a priority, I'll find a way to make it happen. I enjoy playing and running games in established worlds, and in homebrew creations as well. World Building is an amazing and rewarding passion. If you have any questions, my DM's are always open!

GM style

Heavy Roleplay, Voiced Characters, Detailed World, Tactical Combat has it's place, Violence is not always the best solutions, Players choices and actions changes and directs how the story and world unfolds. The World and Campaign has a main story, but the characters/players stories is what makes up the backbone of my campaigns. What fun is saving the world if you don't get the chance to explore and experience the world the way you want to? Saving the world, or completing an objective is an amazing feeling, but the journey to that point is what makes the adventure worth it.
