About me

I've been running games for 20+ years, mostly in a homebrew universe but I'm no stranger to premade modules. I've got experience in a smattering of systems and I'm very enthusiastic about running systems I'm not yet familiar with! My campaign plots tend to focus on character backstories and I like to build the encounters and challenges around the parties abilities and skills (no class feature goes unused). While I prefer to run longer games, one or two shot games are always a good time. My greatest strength as a GM lies with personalized stories that center around the players rather than the mechanics.

GM Style

Roleplay and story are my passion, though I do love mini-games, puzzles, and mystery! While I tend to shy away from it where possible, a good combat encounter is well within my abilities. I love doing voices and will use any excuse I can to make physical props to use in game. Wax sealed letters from mysterious contacts, strange puzzle boxes containing secrets, and custom miniatures for important NPCs are frequent appearances at in person session. Online, custom maps, art, animations, sound, music, and visual effects (with a heaping pile of JS macros for Foundry) are staples at my table.
