Our group was of varying skill levels including a brand new player. Tim did a great job guiding us through the adventure while indulging our creativity. We had such a great time that once the adventure was over we asked for another encounter to keep the game going, and Tim quickly put something together. Looking forward to playing another game here soon!
Long time D&D player here. GM was my introduction to D&D and to this day some of my favorite campaigns. Very new player friendly, you can easily hop right in with whatever idea and they will work with you and cater to your needs. A great space for exploring your creativity and experiencing a new world while having an absolute blast in the process. 100% worth the effort, reach out and you'll be glad you did!
Played a One-Shot "Ale-o-Ween" with Mike, his Tavern Town is very well fleshed out. Many NPCs with images and personalities to match. Every shop and point of interest has a lot of life to it. I recall more than one tavern that had a full drink menu. It was a fun, plot-driven night of Halloween themed madness. We had limited time so there was only one combat, but we also snuck around some other enemies.
Tim was my first and DM. I learned to play 5e with him. After a couple campaigns I can say he's good for someone who doesn't know what they are doing and can barely scrape together a character (me) and he's also good for someone who creates a character with 3 pages of backstory and an extended family (also me). Solid, and experienced. When I played with Mike, he homebrewed his 5e setting and clearly had a blast with it. Enthusiastic and fun. Good pair of DMs here.
