GM Style

I'm striving to deliver a strong narrative experience, creating feeling of a early 00s TV shows and videogames (for better or worse). Exploring not just the story of the world, but the role of the player characters in it. In attempt to promote individuality, i work with each player to bring their ideas to light, bending the rules to bring narrative to the front of the game. Always lean towards use of musical themes and leitmotifs to keep the rhythm of the game going. To support the narrative, i elevate the stakes by creating dynamic action and battle scenes, sometimes bringing forth puzzle elements right in the middle of it — to help players move forward as a team, they'll have to work on performing larger-than-life feats through reckless or smart play. Controlled chaos is the name of the game.
