About me

Hiya! My name is Vannah and I'm a recent college graduate in the animal care industry. I was first introduced to Dungeons & Dragons in 2018 while working as a camp counsellor. The regular Dungeon Master was unavailable for the last few days of the camp and thus I was asked to step in to run the game, despite having no prior experience with tabletop RPGs. Although I didn't know much about the lore of the game (or the rules), I had a great time storytelling with the kids! I did not give them a Skeleton as a pet after they killed his skeleton family. Don't worry about it. This experience sparked my interest, and shortly after a few of the counsellors got together in our own D&D game after work, and later another group digitally that I still play with today. With more confidence and understanding of the rules, I eventually took on the role of Dungeon Master again and discovered my love for telling stories with my players. Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment is very important to me. My tabletop sessions are LGBTQIA+ friendly, and it's crucial that everyone at the table feels safe and included. If you have any issues with this, my games will not be the right fit for you. That being said, I look forward to potentially gaming with you in the future!
