About me

Hello! My name is Carlos, but I am known as Onion around the internet! I have been a dungeon master since early 2020 and have a lot of hours DM'd ever since and they're all available on my Youtube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/@unpopular_onion)! I specialize in action packed one-shots and the more roleplay driven mystery and mischief sessions as well! I usually run games in my own homebrew world and even have made a few homebrew subclasses that can be very fun to play! I am pretty loose with the rules and am excellent with new players. I've introduced tons of my friends to the game and had them come back to play tons of times more and even be a part of campaigns! D&D has given me a lot, from taking me out of a bad place in life, to meeting the love of my life... I hope I can share the passion I have with you!

GM Style

As a DM, I am usually flexible and as helpful as possible with the rules and with putting my players comfortable with roleplaying. I always go a step further in making myself look goofy with my characters so that everyone can feel free of judgment for theirs! (this includes doing voices and moving around... ah and bad accents) I generally theme my sessions if they're one-shots, so there can be some that are heavily focused on combat and others that are more focused on puzzle solving... or combinations of both and other themes!
