Hey there! My name's Amber and I started playing 5e in my 30's. I wanted to start sooner, but it turns out that getting a bunch of adults all in one room at the same time is super tough. 😄 After being a player for about a year I started running my own homebrew campaign for a few long-distance friends and learned it was way more fun to play the monsters. My hobbies include tabletop wargaming 🎲, video games 🎮, and art 🖌️ - so running D&D games is a natural fit for me. I very much enjoy creating maps, handouts, and other things that make my players feel immersed in the story. I don't enjoy being a player in games where I lose track of what my character is doing and why. With that in mind, I try to provide my players with an experience they can feel invested in. The games I run are less about adhering to the rules than working together to tell an interesting story. I welcome brand-new players and communicate openly to create an inclusive, fun environment for everyone. If you don't see a game listed for the time you had hoped, send me a message. I'm happy to adjust the time of a session if I'm able to make it work. This becomes more difficult to do as the game fills, so please just keep that in mind. I host games that I would want to be a part of - welcoming to everyone, inclusive, LGBTQ+ friendly, and I check in often with my players to make sure everyone is having a good time.
