About me

I love sitting at a table and helping people bring their stories to life. Bringing people together to weave an interesting story is what keeps me playing and running games every week. I want to give everyone at my table their time in the spotlight. Outside of TTRPGs, I'm a husband and father. I enjoy board games, stupid movies, wearing funny socks, and petting dogs. If your pet shows up on the video chat, it's cause enough to pause the game and fawn over it. 🐶🐱 When it comes down to it, I want to run the game you will enjoy. Let's make that happen together!📖

GM style

My games tend to feature roleplay and character interactions more prominently than combat as I believe creating believable, engaging NPCs is my greatest strength. Combat always serves to move the story forward or punctuate a narrative arc, though. I utilize three safety tools at my table to ensure a fun and safe environment; lines and veils, X/N/O cards, and a session 0. Character building and explaining the use of these tools is handled at a session 0. If you play at my table, you should expect to collaborate with me on telling not just your character's story, but the others at the table. Together, we'll create opportunities for conflict and character growth, all while adventuring and fighting monsters!
