How Tim the DM runs games

I love including role playing situations that help build story and plot points. I try my best to include different character voices and personalities. I want each player to feel that they contribute and matter. I like to have my players reach their PCs goals and help them attain a higher level of satisfaction. What's D&D without combat? I love building fun and challenging encounters with some times with high stakes and possible character deaths. I feel this makes the situations more and more exciting and engaging. But most of all I love to have fun! I like to follow the rules but I am in no ways a "rules lawyer". If there is a challenge with rules I like to make a ruling or decision that might make more sense or be more engaging for the campaign.
