About me
Greetings, adventurers! I'm Evelyn and first fell in love with TTRPGs in 2004 when I joined a group of friends in a homebrew campaign using the D&D 3.5e rule set and was introduced to the wonder of the shiny math rocks. 19 years and many TTRPG systems later, I continue my adventures on both sides of the table. My love for writing and storytelling has taken me through a few campaigns and several one-shots, including those I've run in my homebrew setting. Everyone has a story to tell, monsters to vanquish, and hidden secrets to discover and I want to help you along the way to create those epic adventures that bards love to sing about in taverns across the land. So, care to join me?
GM Style
Making a welcoming space at the table for my players is one of the most important things to me and, so, helping new players find their way and encouraging everyone to find their "voice" in the roleplay are going to be at the top of my list. I don't expect everyone to have a literal voice for their character, though I like to do voices for my NPCs, but I do hope that all my players can feel their character out and really dive into the collaborative storytelling aspect of the game. And though roleplay is a major focus for me, it doesn't mean there will be a lack of exciting and challenging combats for those players who thrive with that aspect of the game. I'm all about balance. 😊 I'm here to insure my players can have fun and tell the stories they want to tell and that I can have fun alongside them, so finding a good blend of roleplay and tactics/combat is what I find does the trick. There also might be the occasional puzzle because I like them, but I will never overuse them as they can bog down the story at times if they become too frequent. One of the most important things to note is that I use safety tools at my table as a way to ensure everyone is having a good time and is comfortable during each session. Bigots of any kind are not welcome at my table. No exceptions.

Evelyn is an experienced DM who balances role playing, story telling and thrilling combat very well. Capable of improvising on the spot, she can riff off players ideas and respond in a manner that lets players pursue their goals in the fantasy genre. Equipped with the latest in foundry updates, live music, animations, and highly detailed maps, she ensures the experience of role playing table top games is immersive and not without suspense! Lastly, she is highly knowledgeable with the Pathfinder system, and is capable of guiding new players, engaging experienced players, and fostering a safe and healthy group spirit; keeping everyone friendly with each other no matter the ideas. 10/10 worth every hour of gametime.
I've been playing with Evelyn for several months now and having a blast. She's very knowledgeable about the rules able to quickly answer most questions. She does great voices (her goblins are amazing) and is easily able to bring life to otherwise irrelevant NPCs. Highly recommend.
Evie is, hands down, one of the best GMs I've ever played with. There is a certain "life" to her games that is hard to put into words (for me. She could probably do it). Her scenes offer a certain level of descriptiveness that elevates the experience from feeling like you're having a TTRPG scene read at you to feeling like you are dropped into an actual world with actual people doing actual things. You get a sense of the people in the room, the clothes in the store, the food and drink at the feast. While she does use visual aids, her theater of the mind is absolutely next level. Also there is a lot of personality to her NPCs, which makes them a joy to interact with, while still making them feel like actual characters with actual motivation. Finally, her world being as flashed out as it is makes it feel deeply alive, because while I'm certain her plot is planned with the players very much in mind, the way the world & NPCs behave does make it feel like they exist outside the game. They have goals, they live their lives. They make plans and have friends and families and players can choose how deeply they wanna delve into all that. Finally in game, her grasp of the VTT & game system is great, so combat runs along at a good pace and enconters are well planned out, escalating as you reach the boss or goal or what have you. Out of game she is a joy to work with in character creation and seems to take care to insure players are having a good time. She's happy to incorporate backstories & NPCs and from what I've seen tends to encourage creative character creation and goofy antics alongside great character drama. All in all, I highly recommend playing with Evie for newcomers & veterans alike, and I'm really glad our group found her!
As a beginner to TTRPGs, I could not recommend Evelyn's table enough as an entry point. Expectations were clear, and upheld, games were on time and kept to the schedule. Adjustments when life happens couldn't have been handled better. Questions were answered clearly, concisely, and the game ran smoothly. All of which are very clear indicators to me of experience and professionalism. We had ran the pathfinder beginner box, and even with an intentionally tight adventure she found time and space for memorable moments, and characters. I was apprehensive about playing because I wasn't sure that I have the "right" personality for it, but was curious anyway. I could have not felt more welcome at the table (and by her community). And as a result, I'm looking forward to my next adventure. I really can't think of higher praise than that. If any of that sounds relatable to you, I'm of the opinion you will be in a good hands with Evelyn.
