About Evelyn Jachimiak
Greetings, adventurers! I'm Evelyn and first fell in love with TTRPGs in 2004 when I joined a group of friends in a homebrew campaign using the D&D 3.5e rule set and was introduced to the wonder of the shiny math rocks. 19 years and many TTRPG systems later, I continue my adventures on both sides of the table. My love for writing and storytelling has taken me through a few campaigns and several one-shots, including those I've run in my homebrew setting. Everyone has a story to tell, monsters to vanquish, and hidden secrets to discover and I want to help you along the way to create those epic adventures that bards love to sing about in taverns across the land. So, care to join me?

How Evelyn Jachimiak runs games
Making a welcoming space at the table for my players is one of the most important things to me and, so, helping new players find their way and encouraging everyone to find their "voice" in the roleplay are going to be at the top of my list. I don't expect everyone to have a literal voice for their character, though I like to do voices for my NPCs, but I do hope that all my players can feel their character out and really dive into the collaborative storytelling aspect of the game. And though roleplay is a major focus for me, it doesn't mean there will be a lack of exciting and challenging combats for those players who thrive with that aspect of the game. I'm all about balance. đ I'm here to insure my players can have fun and tell the stories they want to tell and that I can have fun alongside them, so finding a good blend of roleplay and tactics/combat is what I find does the trick. There also might be the occasional puzzle because I like them, but I will never overuse them as they can bog down the story at times if they become too frequent. One of the most important things to note is that I use safety tools at my table as a way to ensure everyone is having a good time and is comfortable during each session. Bigots of any kind are not welcome at my table. No exceptions.

My games focus on...
roleplay, primarily, with a secondary focus on various encounters, including combat, and establishing a collaborative environment to tell a good and engaging story.
When it comes to voices
I love doing them because I find them fun and they help me create more fleshed out characters that feel more real to me within the story. I also never want players to feel pressured to do voices or accents because I know that not everyone feels comfortable doing them and that's okay!
