About me

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Therapeutic Dungeon Master, and Certified Geek Therapist. I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons since 1992 and Call of Cthulhu since 1996. I have been running both since 2001. I am presently writing two books on the intersectionality of table-top roleplaying games, diversity, and trauma. I primarily run games set in the Call of Cthulhu RPG, 7th Edition and have run personal games, conventions, etc.

GM Style

My players have noticed I have a strong focus on acting and a discouragement toward combat. I am focused on the story being told and I do not pull punches or fudge rolls. I often have my players roll their own damage and sanity loss as applicable. I am considerate and willing to present trigger warnings giving participants the opportunity to dismiss themselves from a scene if it might be too triggering for them.
