About me
I am a father, nerd, and gamer who has been passionate about fantasy settings since I was a young boy. I have always had a vivid imagination and have been developing my own homebrew world, Tal-Rune, in my mind for many years. At 40 years of age, I have finally summoned the courage to put pen to paper and bring my vision of Tal-Rune to life. For the past three years, I have been honing my skills as a Dungeon Master and have developed a highly detailed approach to my games. I put a lot of thought and effort into creating an immersive and engaging world for my players to explore. While I do plan meticulously, I am also adaptable and don't stress when things don't go according to plan. I take feedback seriously and am always looking for ways to improve. I have deep love for Dungeons and Dragons and a commitment to excellence in my craft, I have set my sights on DM'ing professionally well into my 80s. I believes that Tal-Rune has the power to bring people together and foster creativity and imagination, and I want to share that magic with as many people as possible.
GM Style
When I'm DMing, I really try to get into character and bring the game to life by attempting to do NPC voices to the best of my ability (even though I'm no professional voice actor). I'm really big on world-building, so I like to flesh out as much detail as possible from the sights and sounds to even the smells of the game's environment. I believe that immersing oneself in the game's world is key to having a truly enjoyable and memorable experience. As for gameplay, I try to provide a good balance between combat and roleplaying. Sometimes there are sessions that call for full-on roleplaying, while other times, we may be in for a day filled with nothing but combat. The balance really depends on the story and the actions taken by the players.

Storytelling
Been on Frog's table for a bit over a year now and his stories are great. The pace of his story telling is on the slower side, which allows for RP to happen. You'll take time to chat with other party members on a long rest and you won't jump from one side of the map to the other in a single session. He's very descriptive with his settings, NPC's, and environments, which helps to immerse yourself into a scenario. Frog's DM style is pretty straight forward and is open to unique approaches/strategies if you are able to explain how it would work (unless it's completely crazy) . I will say that his combat and quests lean towards the more difficult side but that's something that I enjoy. Typically the battles are quite challenging which really makes you think about your action economy.
