About me
Hey there you beautiful gamers! My name is The Bearded DM. I've been playing D&D 5e for the past 5 years or so. And I've been playing Monster Of The Week for about 2 years. I very much love both systems but I lean towards Monster Of The Week a little more. GM Style
I'm very much a role play heavy GM. I do not shy away from combat but I don't force It. The way I usually play is that if you're going to have combat it's going to be because it came up naturally. So most of my encounters are social ones. One thing I have adopted from the 4e system is skill challenges. And I use this in a role play style as often as I can. If you're not familiar with skill challenges I highly recommend you look them up and learn how they work because they are very fun. (Or you could just let me teach you 😉)

I went in expecting to play 5e, and he thoughtfully taught me how to play Monster of The Week in about half an hour in a kind and thoughtful way. The storytelling was fun and engaging, and I recommend Beardy for experienced and newbies both! He has a way of keeping everyone at the table engaged in an inclusive and awesome way! I hope I get to play at his table again soon!

The Bearded GM is incredibly dedicated to making sure everyone is having a fun time and makes it very approachable for new players. His storytelling is spectacular and let's you be creative. The amount of time and effort he put into a session was amazing and can't wait to play more!

It was my first experience playing a TTRPG that wasn’t DnD. It was a lot of fun! The Bearded GM really made sure to give everyone an opportunity for involvement. He really considered if your request makes sense for the world, which allowed for interesting characters. I’m very much looking forward to more sessions! Highly recommended this GM!

It's pretty easy to be heard at Bearded's table, and he's always made me feel like my input was appreciated. He's been quite flexible with accommodating character concepts which makes for quite the party composition.

Last few sessions have been really fun and is patient with new players. Builds the world up based on the players and gives us a good amount of freedom. Would definitely reccomend.
