About me

I've been running tabletop RPGs since creating my high school fantasy club in 2008. I have a deep passion for telling stories that emphasize the connection between characters, their loved ones, and their world. I may not be the most tech savvy or prop heavy GM, but I like to think I can more than make up for that with my enthusiasm for storytelling, my deep love and understanding of genre fiction and the effort I will put in to deliver an impactful story that interweaves the desires of each player and their characters. Specialties include - Classic Fantasy with extra genre for spice! - Superheroes! - Creature Fiction, whether horror, cottagecore, or otherwise - Post Apocalyptic Sci Fi, I am an IRL Biologist, I will put the Sci in your Sci Fi - Cryptids! As a former Cryptozoologist, I will work Cryptids into your game, and I don't just mean your He/They Friend who eats cigarette butts and trash, I mean real, mysterious and strange creatures for you to explore the mystery of! Weaknesses - High Energy Players Necessary - Energy is key! I try to put out a lot of energy for the game, and a return on that energy really helps me keep it going, when energy stagnates, I can struggle - Shortness of scope - I am a Cis, White American Man, I will try to do my due diligence to prepare the stories my players want, but I cannot tell stories that are not mine to tell, I can only facilitate.

GM Style

Roleplay focus, with a wide variety of fun NPCs and a focus on making the players feel really important. Definitely a Feedback style of GM, the more energy and story you put in, the more I can put out!
