About me
Hello! I'm Tera. I've been a DM/GM for about 15 years now, with most of my experience in D&D 5e and Starfinder, both of which I've been playing and running games for since they came out. I've been affectionately referred to as both "Gimp Master" and "Brew Master" the former i assume is due to my tendencies to be rather... mean to characters. I dont pull my punches as a DM, both when it comes to overall challenge, as well as in story telling. I've made more than one player actually cry over their character after just dropping the feels bomb on them. The latter of those nicknames is due to my large collection of homebrewed content i've built over the years thats always growing. I'm generally always making something new for my games, whether they ever get used or not. I'm new to this premium model of GM'ing, but I knew it was time to start being a bit more serious about what I do. My goal for any game I run is to build the campaign around the party first and foremost, as one of my biggest strengths is my flexibility in style and ability to craft rich and intricate worlds and stories rather quickly. If you're looking for an epic story, rich character involvement, and dont mind your characters getting their hearts ripped out (both physically and emotionally), I've got a spot at the table for you!
GM Style
My style is mainly "High Powered" games. I like giving my players fun toys to play with. whether thats in the form of fancy magic items, special features or unique abilities. I do this because the stronger I make the characters, the more insane things I can throw at the party. I mean who doesn't want to fight a Lich at 5th level? The other core part of my style is customization. I have alot made, and love making homebrew. Whether its races, classes, entirely new features, you name it. If you want to do something that to game doesn't accomodate, I can make it happen. I cant promise my brews are balanced for every game out there, but they work very well with how I run things. Finally, I prefer to run smaller groups. 3-4 players is my comfort zone. I can run a damn good game for just 2 players, and about 5 players is about my limit. I like to give each player more time and attention, and with more than 4-5 people, I cant really put as much care and attention in as I'd like without making the game drag out forever.
