About me
Welcome stranger! Have a seat and order an ale while I whisk you away with a tale of adventure, YOUR adventure! But first, my credentials. I've been playing Dungeons and Dragons in one edition or another for 13 years, and DMing for most of those. I play D&D with one true rule, we have fun. I am experienced with 2e AD&D and 3.5, but I do mostly prefer to play with 5e now. I am happy to play both adventure modules as well as a homebrew world. I'm also happy to allow relatively balanced homebrew characters. I have run both story driven and well as hard mode campaigns. Finally, I'm looking forward to playing with you!
GM Style
I enjoy a mix of prep and improv with a lot of player read. I will go with your flow, but my natural talents lie with suspense, a bit of thriller, medium combat and extra medium roleplay, with an even paced character-driven story narrative. I like to run sandboxes where the world is your oyster and I love a good homebrew rule or two, but only if the players are on board with it. Consensus is key with me, and I'm not afraid to change a rule if it's not working with the group, regardless of how I ruled in the past. Talk to me if I've done something you don't like and we'll work something out, because to me, our fun is the only rule that matters.

The adventure was paced out well with intrigue and wonder. The DM let us roleplay to our hearts content while keeping the plot progressing. Wonderful twist and turns met us at near every corner. All on lovely well made mapscreens. Great time and would reccomend to beginners. 😊
Tera has the intelligence to cite the rules like a native language and the wisdom to know when it's much more fun to bend them. Her homebrew campaign brought together what we all thought was a series of quest-of-the-week vignettes into a mystery hunt for a BBEG puppetmaster with subtle clues laid out from day one, alongside moments of laughter and heartbreak throughout. She gave every character their time to shine, and made us all feel welcome and wanted at the table. When we played as a pirate crew, she gave us all unique battle mechanics at sea, using the ship itself, based on our role as a crewmate. Anything she tweaks always makes more sense to me as a player and makes the game itself feel smoother, and I know beginners and veterans who've both had the best time with her. She's very good at adjusting how the game flows based on the players present and what everyone feels most comfortable or has the most fun doing. Also, her horror is on point. I don't think I've envisioned anything as clearly in DnD as her description of a flesh golem Inside-ing its way through city ruins around us, before or since. My brain gave it a dramatic matching soundtrack and everything, and that was the campaign that we did purely with theatre of the mind and a paper map, not with all her extra work on roll20 these days. I'm kind of surprised it didn't end up in my nightmares, but I guess that's what happens when you have a DM who feels safe and knows when to step on the gas or the breaks.
