About me

Hey there, welcome to my profile! I'm Mason and I'm a Software Developer, Husband, Cat Dad, and Dungeon Master! I've been a DM for 5e for about 4 years now. I'm very into making complex puzzles, fun story elements, and really connecting with my players. I got started with a group of friends who really didn't know what they were doing, but enjoyed yelling at eachother and rolling dice. After realizing that I had a bunch of stories to tell I started by attempting to DM, and fell in love with watching the smiles on faces grow as I told stories. I'm far from perfect but I really enjoy getting to know my players personally, weaving the stories they want to tell in fun and fantastical new ways! I've always got an open door if someone wants or needs more from me!

GM style

I love to make my players laugh and have a good time more than anything. I like to think that I'm a fairly laid back and easy going DM that is always up to make my players the heroes! I'm very newbie friendly and open to helping people grow and explore different characters. I'm enjoy puzzles that test both players and characters, alongside combat that will both challenge and thrill! Overall I think that my most important thing would be communication. I feel that I communicate often with my players both in and outside of the game to see what I can do to make their experience better. I love to see people realize their hero fantasies, and make sure to weave their story elements as deep into the adventure as possible!
