About me

Hey there! Name's Sycamore, I'm an avid fan of TTRPG's, Paizo's work specifically and thus Pathfinder as a whole. I've been a GM for the better part of 6-7 years in various systems including 5e DnD, Pathfinder 1e/Pathfinder 2e and WH40k Black Crusade. By a fair margin I spend most of my time playing or DM'ing for d20 fantasy systems such as some of the above mentioned, given the vast amount of experience I have in doing so I felt it only natural to provide my talents to the rest of the community surrounding my favorite games! I'm a GM with an eye for details as well as a focus on character concepts and crafting narratives with you! While the AP's I'll be running have set plots and encounters, I'm happy to help craft a character arc with you and provide all the RP opportunities you and your group needs. I'm also particularly good at aiding new players in learning systems and utilizing foundry's modules and macros I can automate much of the process of using the system for all players. GM Style

As a GM I enjoy combat and RP in equal amounts but I also have a big soft spot for the use of subsystems, such as Hexploration, Reputation, Vehicles and social encounters! My style tends towards vibrancy with a flair for the spectacular, funny, or intense content. I love to give each player character a chance to step up and shine and to deliver on key narrative beats in order to provide for that spotlight. As far as combat itself goes, I like to keep it action packed and flowing seamlessly for everyone at the table. As such, I run as close to RAW/RAI as I can, and in the unlikely event that I need to rule on ambiguity I tend towards fast or quick solutions for the moment that can be revisited later if need be in order to keep that flow. In other words, regardless of if it's combat, RP or anything else, I like to keep the focus on the fun for me and my players thus I strive to avoid ever getting bogged down in the moment on minutiae that would take away from the game.
