About me

Searching for a GM who'll let you RKO a dragon? Want quests heavily influenced by your backstory? Look no further—for I am here! Hello, Adventurer! My name is Strom. I've been a TTRPG player for four years and a GM for three. My journey began when my best friend ran a solo one-shot for me a few years ago, and I've been hooked ever since—whether as a player or a Game Master. Over the years, I've honed my skills in crafting monsters and designing encounters to test the party's mettle. I take pride in creating diverse, thematic creatures with unique actions and mechanics. Whether you're looking for funny shenanigans, stunning teamwork, or gritty, edge-of-your-seat combat, I strive to bring exactly what my players want to the table. My goal? To ensure everyone has the best time possible. Some memorable moments from my campaigns include: - RKO-ing a young dragon out of the sky by throwing each other at it. - A paladin and rogue using Divine Sense and a longbow to play sniper-spotter, bringing down invisible undead. - Making the BBEG’s avatar laugh with a spell while it was being pummeled by another NPC. -And many more tales too numerous to recount here! I primarily use D&D 5e (2014 rules), but I’m open to exploring other systems as well. Let’s craft some unforgettable adventures together!

GM Style

In my opinion, a GM's role is to give players the freedom to try anything they want, as long as it follows the rules and is logically sound. My approach to GMing revolves around allowing players to embody their characters as they please, while maintaining a safe, fair, and enjoyable environment. Whether you're letting your inner Creative Gnome shine or unleashing your Naughty Goblin tendencies, the goal is for everyone to have fun. Both TTRPG veterans and newcomers are welcome to join in for a fantastic D&D experience. For me, the most rewarding part of being a GM is seeing my players bring their wildest dreams to life—roleplaying, engaging in epic battles, and, above all, enjoying their time at my table. While I strive to keep my games balanced between roleplay and combat, I do have a personal bias toward action, so my sessions tend to be more combat-focused. That said, I love crafting custom quests and tweaking modules to fit the characters' backstories, ensuring each player gets their moment in the spotlight. "Rules are imperative," they say—but where's the fun if everything strictly follows the rules? While I adhere to the rules most of the time, I'm not afraid to bend, modify, or even discard them temporarily to make the game more exciting. If a player's idea is creative and fun, I'll almost always let them try it. After all, the "Rule of Cool" exists for a reason. So, if you're looking for a GM who embraces your creativity or chaotic tendencies, look no further. Let's make some unforgettable memories together.
