About me

I've been hosting games since the playground in 6th grade! I love telling stories, and guiding great games that make everyone work together under the spirit of genuinely fun play that is firmly oriented by the rules. Over 22 years later, I still love running games. I have 3 years of strictly online play experience in addition to my traditional live play experience. I love Roll20, but with my recent adaption of theater of the mind exclusive improvised playstyle, maps will now be hand-drawn based on the developing story. With my new style of play, the entire world is improvised for your game group. You can suggest a certain setup ("how about a airship heist?") and I will begin the story using improv tools such as a oracle table to help facilitate new ideas and twists. No two sessions are ever the same! As an added essential gameplay element, players can ask close-ended questions to the DM, who must answer the questions in kind using the oracle table to decide the likelihood of a yes or no answer. An example could be, "Is there a loaded crossbow in the cabinet that's to the right of the bandits?" I will estimate the odds and let the Dice Gods decide what follows next, narrating the outcome based on improvisation. You may love (or hate) the results you get, so be careful what you ask for! GM Style

- I have a great love for roleplaying and would say that I run the middle of the road in terms of complexity and depth. I love giving players as much control as I can, and love to see their characters develop and plot lines unfold. - I love character voices and can't help myself from making them! I love getting into character and making them as lifelike as I can. You are welcome and encouraged to speak and act in character as much as you are comfortable with. - With my games being improvised and played via theater of the mind, please expect that certain elements of combat, such as the measurement of distance, will be abstracted. If you value precise grid-based combat, this may not be the game for you. However, if you would like to try something new, I would encourage everyone to try it! - I love hosting player-driven narrative based games that focus on cooperation and mutual fun for all players. I want to facilitate a welcoming, enjoyable, and approachable play style that puts the emphasis on letting players interact with and influence their world in a way that standard 5e cannot provide. - I strive to run an inclusive game environment. If you cannot behave and respect people of all types and backgrounds, please do not try to join my games. - There may be lots of violence and some swearing, but no sexual content is allowed. Other objectionable content may be prohibited at the DM's discretion. I want to have a fun time for all involved!
