About me
Hello, well met, and welcome all! My name is Marki and I've been playing TTRPG games for over 6 years and GMing for over 2 years. I initially become interested in TTRPG over 20 years ago, but it wasn't until more recently I let my nerd flag fly and finally invested my time and energy and it became a passion! In my personal life; I have a wife, two dogs, and a rabbit. I am an active duty military member, but also exploring different opportunities outside of that. I grew up doing theatre and improv, so TTRPGs have been an amazing outlet for me to express my talents! Let's go on an adventure together! 🎙️Professional audio quality and voices 🖥️Experienced in Virtual Tabletop Tools 🔥Rule of Cool advocate 🎭Interesting NPCs with varying personalities and voices 👹 Terrifying and intense enemies and encounters 🔀 Intriguing narratives with satisfying twists and turns 🎲 Adaptable storytelling shaped by the player’s choices and rolls 🎶 Curated Music playlist to provide ambiance and immersion ❤️ Friendly and welcoming to all players no matter their background, identity, or experience
GM Style
The most important thing to me as a GM is that my players have fun! Player Agency will always be a top priority as well as allowing everyone an equal opportunity to participate. I will always be inclusive of everyone who decides to join me and work to create a space that all can enjoy. ⭐ Combat - Meant to be fun and fast ⭐ Character - Voices and roleplay are encouraged, but not required ⭐ Care - I care about your character and want you to succeed ⭐ Collaboration - We are telling and creating an adventure together! ⭐ Come join me!

Proficiencies
Players say this GM is great at:
Creativity
Voices
Inclusive
29 sessions in: The campaign is a blast. Marki is highly recommended! 6 sessions in: Marki has great voices for NPCs, and the NPCs all seem alive with motivations. She is very helpful in getting players up and going with the various pieces of tech that comes with virtual games, and is accommodating of the players choice of character sheet tech. In the game she keeps the narrative moving, even when the players run out of ideas or do things silly things like forgetting they have horses. She usually lets the fun idea carry the narrative in play; I imagine we'll hit the limit eventually. My take- Marki is great with beginners, in part because she is getting used to the tech herself. Why not support a new and upcoming DM, and grow with a group?
2 sessions in and we are all having a lot of fun. A GM that really wants individuals to have the opportunity to shine in their own ways as well as for everyone to be included in the group as a whole. I hope to play many more games with them and would encourage you to do the same.
They did a great job getting us onboard in session zero. Helped us get our characters set up pretty quick and went over all the important information in a great manner. They were clearly having fun DMing for us and that spread to the rest of the group. We did have one issue with a player arriving late and missing that we started at level 3 instead of level 1 and was open to the idea of rewarding that player for going through the start of our adventure before we all caught it!
