I've been an avid lover of fantasy, sci-fi, and "pretend games" with my siblings since I was a little kid. I thought I was growing out of the freeform pretending, but then I discovered TTRPGs - a way to combine rules and structure with imagination and creativity - and I was instantly hooked.

How Silas Thomas runs games
-I prefer a good mix of tactical combat with roleplay and character exploration. -I tend to go with rules as written most of the time, with homebrew rules that I tend to spell out beforehand. It is rare that I use rule of cool. -I love to create a sense of immersion in my games; character voices and ambient music are two of my strongly-preferred tools to accomplish that. -I like to weave together stories that involve the player characters' backstories and game actions. PCs' choices should matter!
