Greetings Adventurers! I am DM Riot, an all around storyteller and referee for adventures both told and,,, untold! I have been playing Dungeons & Dragons since 1980 and have never really stopped, having DM'd all versions of the game. I'm a creative and fair DM who plays within the structure and rules of Dungeons and Dragons 5E with minimal rules alterations to the RAW. (Read my reviews from both long time and recent players) When it comes to DMing, I really put in the behind the scenes work to make sure YOU have the best game ever! I really try to keep the game moving along and interesting. When it comes to your time. I arrive early for the sessions, usually 20-30 mintues prior for any questions and to help everyone get ready to go. I rarely cancel sessions, and if so, even more rare is it last minute. So I don't waste your time. And most importantly, I run the full 3 hours and don't cut it short! If anything we somethimes run long to finish a scenario. When it comes to your immersion, I am an expert with Talespire, the outstanding 3D Virtual Table Top! Which, in my opinion its the BEST substitute to being at the table in person. It even allows you to import you own custom Hero Forge minis! How cool is that? I also use Syrinscape for ambiance and fights, as well as do sound effects for EVERY SPELL CAST! As well as victories, cheers, jeers, and more! I'm not just some run of the mill DM on a microphone, you'll be able to hear everything going on as well! Furthermore, my homebrew games are very detailed. I fully believe in character development (Especially for the Players), challenging combats, and worthy puzzles all within the structured challenge ratings of the D&D 5E rulesets. As well as NPC's who have depth and character. And to top it all off, I'm also a published author, recorded musician, and all around performance type of DM who really enjoys crafting a good story and letting it unfold for the players with all the "extras" (sounds, music, and voice mentioned above) that make it immersive! Most of my current adventures take place in my homebrew campaign world "Shadows of Dawn", Check the FaceBook or Twitch Links below for more! But I also specialize in running OLD SCHOOL Modules (i.e. Basic/Expert/Advanced editions) updated to the 5E ruleset and built in Tale Spire! Which are perfect for those wanting to experience the classics for a single adventure!
