About me

Hey! I'm Sean, a writer based out of South Florida! I have over eight years of Dungeon Master Experience, running all sorts of games and systems, with the main one primarily being D&D 5th Edition. A major part of writing that I enjoy is the world-building, which is what drew me to DMing in the first place. I love creating a fleshed out world, filled to the brim with lore, be it of interesting characters, locations, and much, much more. I'm also a filmmaker and acting is something that I've loved since I was a young child. So, because of this, I generally try and immerse my players by acting out the characters, moments, and creating genuine moments of storytelling in each of their performances, making every character, at the very least, believable. That being said, I don't expect the same out of my players. I believe that each player comes to TTRPGs with something that they wish to express/do with the time that they have allotted with the session. The players know what they wish to do, how they wish to do it, and how they intend to act with their party, so my job as a DM is to facilitate the most enjoyable experience for every single player type, while still telling a good, emotional story and make sure every single player has their moment to shine because at the end of the day, the players' enjoyment is my main goal!

GM Style

My GM style tries to incorporate everything that I enjoy out of TTRPGs, which is the freedom to do whatever at the highest level of quality. This means that I attempt to immerse my players in the world I'm attempting to build, which means having as much lore as possible, acting out characters, and delivering on tactical combat. That being said, my goal is to make the players' experience as enjoyable as possible so I'm more than willing to focus on different aspects of TTRPGs to cater to each specific group! As a quick side note, I enjoy having important choices and having player choice be a hyper-important aspect of my games. I think this delivers an immersive experience and really feels like the players are affecting the world. I also enjoy more open-ended, exploration style games but I have run intrigued based campaigns, combat driven ones and even some that were purely exploration, I enjoy DMing all kinds!
