Hello there! My name is Sarcy, aka Ashley. I’m a devoted mother, gamer, and pet enthusiast. In my spare time I enjoy writing new game mechanics for my homebrew worlds, binge-watching my favourite shows, and gardening. I’m an introverted eccentric, so I am constantly excited by new ideas and trying them out. I pride myself on being a polite, humble and open-minded individual, and bring those qualities to every game I host. I’m the anxious-but-excited type, which just means I always strive for providing a fun and engaging game for my players. I look forward to the fun shenanigans we could get into!

GM style

~~STYLE~~ My GM style replicates what I am passionate about in my games. I like to be open and try new things, and adjust the game to fit each players style. I believe that the best game should make you feel immersed, much like the fluidity of reading a book or watching a show and feeling like you’re right there with all of the characters when the action takes place. Exploration, mystery, combat, crafting, magic and the occasional puzzle can be expected in my games. ~~DISCORD~~ No matter what type of game you join in with me, games require the use of Discord as a communication log between DM and players. Session notes will be typed by me and provided via Discord. ~~VOICED GAMES~~ In a voiced game, the use of a microphone is required. The use of a camera is completely optional and up to the player to decide what their comfort level is. Voice and camera are utilized in Discord’s app - no third-party apps required. When able to, games will be recorded or transcription will be provided for those with hearing challenges. All players must agree to being recorded if they so choose (recorded gameplay allows for easier recall of events and roleplay improvement, but is not necessary at all and is completely optional. If one player does not wish to be recorded, then no recording will occur at all. It’s all-or-nothing). ~~PLAY-BY-POST GAMES~~ PBP games often have a slower pace and occur on a daily-to-weekly basis. Those that love roleplay and creativity but have a challenging schedule or other conflicts would benefit from this style of play. PBP games are billed once per week, and all game activity takes place within Discord. No camera or microphone is required. ~~HOMEBREW GAMES~~ Ever since I was a young child, writing and creativity came very naturally to me. It was often my escape and comfort, from poetry to novels and making games. Homebrew content is one of my passions that will likely stay with me even into the afterlife. I have the most fun with my homebrew games as myself and players partake in immense freedom of choice, play style, mechanics, fluidity and so much more. One homebrew game is never the same as the next, and I often make custom homebrew worlds that are tailored to each group that I host, taking into account each players ideals.
