Hi there! I personally love taking modules that my players are interested in, and tweaking them to better invest and focus the player characters in the setting. I’ve done this with campaign settings like Spelljammer Academy, Spelljammer: Light of Xaryxis, Prisoner 13, and Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen, and look forward to doing so with plenty more! In my past year as a DM, I’ve run more than 50 sessions. 40+ for a single campaign, two mini campaigns, and four one-shots! You can look forward to an enhanced D&D 5e experience at my table with access to all 5e source books via DNDBeyond, curated music selections to increase immersion, Roll20 for visuals of NPCs, resources, and battle maps, and the use of Discord for voice/video calls depending on the table’s preference.
I put a heavy focus on character choice! Imbuing NPCs with personal voices and mannerisms, investing players and their characters into a given setting’s stakes, and designing combats with different means of success. These are just a few of the ways that I aim to make players feel that their choice has a dynamic effect on the world around them, and attempt to keep the game interesting!
