About Sam Likely
Imaginative and easy-going DM looking for some new players! I've been running D&D campaigns and one-shots for multiple groups over the past decade, telling some wonderful stories and making friends along the way. I'd love to help tell your story soon! I'm a queer-friendly rule-of-cool loving DM who's here to fall in love with your characters and help guide misfit parties on epic adventures. I aim to keep my games playful and whimsical, but with a lot of heart and few climactic clashes along the way.

How Sam Likely runs games
I'm a roleplay-loving, rule-of-cool, character-focused DM. My goal is always to facilitate collaborative storytelling and a "yes and" your wild ideas! I'm well-versed in rules and can get crunchy when the time comes, but tend to keep things loose and centered on the RP/story until significant combat rolls around. My average session will cover a mix of social encounters, exploration, a sprinkling of combat, and maybe just a bit of puzzle solving. I'm not a professional voice actor, but I do commit to my NPC voices and will happily make a fool of myself for the party's amusement! We're all at a D&D table, so I say let's get geeky! My games are 18+ and legal substance use is allowed. I'll likely be sipping some wine myself! *note: I'm a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and keep my games accordingly friendly! I run a table that's respectful of all identities and won't tolerate otherwise. In general, I do my best to keep players comfortable and engaged, and will discuss potentially distressing game elements in advance / respond to feedback promptly!
