About me
Like a lot of people, I started playing D&D during the COVID lockdown of 2020. I did everything I was supposed to do to find an group online - I made profiles on a bunch of sites, I posted on message boards saying I was looking for a group, I looked for games at my local gaming store - all to no avail. So I thought, "If I can't find a DM, I'll just have to be the DM!" Over the last 3 years, I've DM'd for groups of adults in long-running campaigns and one-shots, and even for kids as young as 7. I love teaching new players and helping them develop their characters, and I love creating avenues for people to play out the fantasy they've always dreamed of. Playing D&D with kids is especially fun since they're so imaginative anyway, plus I get to help with their math and reading skills. If you've always wanted to play D&D, whether for a bachelor party, birthday party, or a months-long campaign, I'll be happy to help!
GM Style
I love all aspects of D&D, from exploration to role play to crunching numbers, but I prefer to ask the group what they prefer and try to tailor the experience toward that. Whether one person likes in-depth role play and another doesn't like to feel like they have to perform, all are welcome at my table.

Ryan is such a great DM! Our party consisted of first-time and experienced players but Ryan made it super easy for everyone to get comfortable and have fun. He encourages people to be creative and play in whatever style their comfortable with. I would definitely recommend!

Ryan is a fantastic GM/DM. Many of the players for this one-shot had never played DnD, and he did such a great job introducing them to the game and really making it a fun experience for everyone. He is so good at working with players of all experience levels. This one shot was also just so fun and really did justice to the collaborative storytelling that DnD is.

Ryan has an amazing ability as a DM of making every game of his feel like a home game going 10+ years strong. Even when playing with complete strangers and new players, he provides a sense of safety and comfort that seems to be harder and harder to find these days. 10/10 would recommend to new players or those looking for a welcoming and comfortable home game vibe.

Ryan is a great DM! Our group is a mix of somewhat experienced and brand new to D&D players. He worked with each of us to make sure our characters were what we wanted and offered suggestions to connect them to the world he created. I love that he asked us what kind of game we were looking for and for anything he should avoid. He’s willing to go along with our wild ideas and help make them work (if rolls are good enough!) in game. Highly recommended! (Also he’s super nice)

Definitely fun and engaging if you are new to the game and need some assistance or cues. Ryan helps you build confidence and experience, and the campaigns are thrilling, lots of descriptive locations and characters, you’re down in caves then riding thru the sky in the clouds- with many creative advantages available in battle! He has great versions for kids also, shorter campaigns with less violence and more adventure depending on your preference.
