About Ryan M

I have been playing D&D for just over 5 years and took on the role of DM for friends 4 years ago. I have since run multiple campaigns and one shots among various groups, both friends and strangers. I love getting together with a group to tell a story and I love the creative and organizational challenges required of being a DM. I always look to meet those challenges head on in the best way for the players at my table. There's nothing better than a session full of laughter, fun, and maybe a little tension as we build a story and world together. I'm looking forward to meeting you at the table and seeing where our story goes!

How Ryan M runs games

I love rewarding character choices, both in and out of combat. My favorite thing as a GM is when I get to sit back and watch as my fellow players interact with each other to further the story. I will do my best to provide "Yes, and" as much as possible, but when called for I will use "No, but" to help players tell a satisfying story. That being said, I also love a good combat encounter and will try to offer them often (with options that allow for creative avoidance/resolution).
