About me
From a young age, I've been captivated by the art of storytelling, especially in genres like murder mysteries. The way storytellers craft their narratives to keep audiences engaged has always fascinated me. While I'm definitely more technical and a software developer by trade, I see storytelling as something that trains you to be creative—whether through code, game mechanics, or narrative design. Now, through TTRPGs like Dungeons & Dragons, I'm eager to refine and expand my own storytelling techniques. I believe character development—whether for a player character or an NPC—should take center stage. After all, why always play the hero who triumphs when you could be the one who gave everything but still fell short? Some of the most powerful stories are those that stir emotions, as long as they offer some sense of closure or relief in the end. That's why, as a DM, I'm always looking for innovative ways to tell stories. And if that means creating props—like coasters that double as puzzle solutions (yes, I’ve done that)—then count me in!
GM Style
My GM style focuses on (immersive) roleplay, sometimes with distinct character voices, to bring the world to life. I love weaving mystery into my campaigns, encouraging players to piece together clues and solve puzzles. Characters don’t always need to be the heroes; sometimes, the most powerful stories come from those who struggle or even fail.
