Hey! I'm Will. I've been playing D&D and World of Darkness games since 2008 and running my own games since 2012. I'm a fairly well-rounded GM and tend to err on the side of "rule of cool". I tweak stat blocks and often don't use anything exactly as it is in any book to keep things new and exciting. I am a fan of out of the box thinking and tend to reward players who think of creative potential solutions for their characters by giving it a legitimate chance to succeed as long as you can convince me why it *could* work.

GM Style

I'm a mixed bag when it comes to my games. I enjoy roleplay heavy sessions, lore reveals, character voices(whether I'm good at them or not), and I enjoy the types of combat that makes the players feel like heroes. I have a few homebrew rules that I use on occasion that will always be made known begore character creation begins. I prefer the group know what sort of tone to expect from a game and will give my sessions a rating from 1 to 10 on how silly to serious the game will be. Rule of cool is second only to fun first! I allow outside homebrew only after I've reviewed it and given the go ahead, but I don't like to use rules that hamper or hinder what the players are capabale of. You'll always know what you can do, but not often what your foes can do! Think that's a normal troll? Just wait for it's next turn and see what surprise is might have in store for you!
