GM Style

Hi there! My name's Rich and I'm what you might call a narrative DM. I love telling sweeping stories collaboratively with my players. I try to make my players' experience as immersive as possible with a combination of music & sound, character voices, props (physical and digital), maps, and custom-made tokens & miniatures. I believe in making players at my table feel as safe as possible, and have as much fun as possible. I believe the Rule of Cool has more power than Rules as Written. I encourage roleplaying, and try to balance that with challenging combat. I also love to pepper in social encounters and occasional traps or puzzles as well, all depending on what the group finds interesting.
