With explosion of Dungeons & Dragons 5e, I grabbed my dice bag and looked for a game... but alas, I found myself with no one to play with. Becoming the change I wanted to see in the world, I learned how to run the game and started my own weekly group, and have fallen in love with the collaborative storytelling and hilarious hijinks that can only be wrought from the interactions between like minded friends and storytellers. I came to StartPlaying because I was frustrated with the clunky "Looking for Group" mechanisms cobbled together through fan sites and discord servers. Now with the power of the internet and the power of our minds, we can step into a new world, where we don't have to beg, borrow, or steal our way into a game.
