About me

Hello! My name is Raizen and have been playing role-playing games for a really, really... really long time. My journey into being a virtual storyteller, however, began at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Looking for a way to stay connected to other people while quarantined I decided to start running my own virtual games. Now that things have finally cooled down a little I've found that I really have a knack for it and now I want to do it for as many people as I can.

GM Style

While I have played in and run all sorts of tabletop games recently the World of Darkness setting has become my favorite place to do so. I enjoy exploring mature subjects (in a tasteful manner) and I believe this systems allows for that in an interesting way. The vampire is a metaphor that has been explored for ages and I'm here to do my part in adding to the mythos. My particular style of storytelling trends more to the personal horror aspect, but I certainly embrace the political angle as well. I believe I have succeeded as a storyteller when my players can interact with each other in character for 10 or more minutes without my input. I am looking to fully immerse my players in the world I have built. As for combat, my world's tend to be reactive. A character looking for fights will certainly find one sooner or later. Meanwhile a social butterfly can avoid these sordid events if they play their cards right.
